A: About as normal as it can get in a country that takes all necessary and unnecessary (well, who knows?) precautions against the SARS epidemic. Luckily -the respondent adds- I had enough work for school that kept me from being bored or going into town only to see it as empty as you really wouldn't want to see it, ...unless you wanna get scared.
Apart from that life still is quite enjoyable round here, especially with these new options arising.

Q: Dude, what are you talking about?

A: In short, it looks like all the exchange students are given the chance to finish this semester without taking the final exams. In fact, most of them are already off to Australia or who-knows-where? There have also been reports of some students actually going home.

Q: And you? What are you still doing here? Aren't you leaving as well?

A: Yes, I most likely will sometime soon! I'll definitely come home a month early or more. Yet, I still feel like I should make a short stopover on one of the beautiful islands at the Andaman Coast.

Q: Mhh, sounds fair... Will you keep us posted?

A: Sure!
